It snowed a lot last night. Guess we had thunder and lightening after I conked out. The snow was halfway up my car doors this morning. And it kept snowing till about 3 pm today. Some idiot kids were outside yelling all day, then they decided they should throw things at the icicles hanging from the eaves. Icicles here tend to keep getting longer and longer until they cover the entire side of the building and even seeing out is impossible. The building manager showed up and yelled at them to stop. So I survived my first day back at work on a sprained foot and ankle, and a kneecap that refuses to stay in the socket still. My knee swelled like crazy, and hurt like it too. Good thing it was only seven hours of standing and not ten. I didn't scream once all day, but I did nearly go down a couple times. My knee keeps itching, but it is so sore ( Read more... )

Another night I have to sit up watching the bad weather on the news, waiting to see if I have to flee. Thunder is rumbling distantly, but it's coming this way.
